| Apples, peeled,cored,diced | 4 or 5 | ||
| Sugar | 1/2 cup | ||
| Chopped dates | 1/2 cup | ||
| Pecans, toasted | 1/2 cup | ||
| Flour | 2 Tbs. | ||
| Baking powder | 1 tsp | ||
| Salt | 1/8 tsp | ||
| Nutmeg | 1/4 tsp | ||
| Butter, melted | 2 Tbs. | ||
| Egg, beaten | 1 | ||

Directions |

| 1. Stir apples, sugar and dates in a slow cooker | |
| 2. In separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt & nutmeg | |
| 3. Stir into apple mixture | |
| 4. Drizzle melted butter over the batter and stir | |
| 5. Stir in egg | |
| 6. Cook on low for 3-4 hours | |
| 7. Add pecans at the end of the cooking time to warm |
