| Date Pieces | 8 oz | 1 3/4 cups | |
| Nuts, chopped | 4 oz | 1 cup | |
| Nonfat Dry Milk* | 3 oz | 5/8 cup | |
| Honey | 14 oz | 1 1/8 cup | |
| Butter or Margarine | 7 oz | 7/8 cup | |
| Brown Sugar | 3 oz | 6 1/2 Tbsp | |
| Vanila Extract | 1 Tbsp 1 tsp | ||
| Cinnamon | 1 1/4 tsp | ||
| Salt | 1/2 tsp |

Directions |

| 1. In a mixing bowl, combine oats, dates, nuts and nonfat dry milk. | |
| 2. In saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar. Add honey, vanilla, cinnamon and salt. Mix until well combined. | |
| 3. Add honey mixture to oat mixture. Mix until well blended. | |
| 4. Spread evenly on full sheet pan. | |
| 5. Bake at 300 degrees Fahrenheit for 35 to 45 minutes. Stir every 15 minutes. Should be crunchy and golden brown. | |
| DO NOT make in a convection oven. | |
| *Note: If Instant Nonfat Dried Milk is available, use 1 1/4 cups (or 3 oz) for 50 servings. | |
