Orange Date Nutmeg Smoothie

Orange DateFor a boost of immune-supporting nutrients, this orange nutmeg date smoothie will do the trick. With no added sugars and a creamy consistency, this smoothie will certainly satisfy. Feel free to swap out the dairy milk and yogurt for a non-dairy alternative, if desired.

Serves 2

Ingredients:

2 cups 2% milk

2 tablespoons almond butter

8 pitted Medjool dates

½ cup fresh orange juice

4 ounces vanilla Greek yogurt

1 teaspoon nutmeg

¼ teaspoon cinnamon

1 ½ cup ice


Optional: additional nutmeg to sprinkle on top of smoothie as garnish.

Instructions:

Combine all ingredients except for optional nutmeg in a blender and blend until smooth. Top with a sprinkle of nutmeg, if desired.
