The Ancient Sweetener

Date syrup is one of the oldest sweeteners in the world. Ancient manuscripts from Mesopotamia mention the syrup, showing it was the most popular sweetener in the time. Date syrup is even mentioned as “date honey” in the Bible! Although date syrup has been around for thousands of years in different parts of the world, it’s only recently grown in popularity in the United States.

How is Date Syrup Made?

First, dates are locally grown and harvested in gorgeous hot and sunny Coachella Valley, California. They are then brought to our state of the art facility for processing and packaging.

We take our wholesome, organic dates, and add in water to strain the nectar from the delicious dates. Date syrup is then made by heating the dates in water, blending it, and straining the whole mixture with a filter to strain out the pits. Then, the water is carefully evaporated out. What you're left with is the sweet, delicious nectar, full of vitamins and minerals, and all of that datey-goodness you’re used to.

Our organic date syrup is known for a number of characteristics:
