Who doesn’t love the sweet-salty combo of bacon wrapped dates? A sure crowd pleaser, this dish is simple to make and is oh-so-satisfying.
Serves 6 (serving size – 2 dates)
½ cup cream cheese
12 Medjool dates, pitted
24 roasted, salted, and shelled pistachios
6 slices of bacon, cut lengthwise (resulting in 12 thinner strips)
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees (F)
2. Stuff one date with 1 teaspoon cream cheese and two pistachios. Wrap one piece of bacon around date and secure with wooden toothpick. Place on baking sheet
3. Repeat steps with remaining ingredients. Bake for 10 minutes or until cooked to desired doneness. Drain on paper towel and serve warm.
